I called and talked to Digitech. I was told they are only selling the LT/X2 now. They quoted me $425,000 for the base CMYK machine. If you need to add white, gloss, orange. its $30k extra per channel. Everything is made in the USA including the inks.
I am looking into purchasing a new flatbed printer. We currently have a JFX 200-2513 that is getting old and becoming unreliable.
Our top priority is print quality. We do a lot of high end artwork, signage and displays for universities and professional sports.
The ink set currently used is...
When I had this problem, all of my alignments were spot on. I did them all with a digital microscope. No matter what I changed or adjusted, I continued to have this problem. I have aligned several of our Mimaki machines without issues in the past. I ended up finding out my problem was more than...
Hi All,
Currently we have a JFX200 machine in our shop. It is getting pretty old and we are looking to upgrade. We are a smaller shop focusing on print quality and color consistency first. The current ink setup is CMYK,WH,CL (LUS-150 for color/white LH-100 for clear). I mainly print on Acrylic...
We have a JFX200-2513. Recently the movement of the head started to get very loud. It seems like the head is having trouble or added resistance moving. I am thinking that the slide units on the linear rails are starting to go bad. I see that they have grease zerks on them, but they have a...
I replaced both heads in our JFX200-2513 printer. I have replaced several heads in the past with no issues. After replacing the heads, I filled up the heads and sub tanks. I did an air purge. I went through and did all of the print adjust alignments, 300, 600, 1200. BI, SI, RE. I checked the...
I have tried that. No change. I am thinking I will need to replace the head. I can't seem to find much information on replacing a head. But from the parts diagram, it doesn't look to difficult to take apart.
I am having problems with Light Cyan on head 1. Nozzle check is showing light cyan completely missing. It is working in head 2. No problems with any other colors in head 1 or 2. Have done several cleans and head maintenance. I cant get any light cyan out of head 1. Any suggestions?
Back in November, we had problems with head 2. We had several service guys come out and one replaced the head. That did not solve our problem. Nobody could figure it out. Later I was troubleshooting and discovered that the HDC board was bad, so I replaced it. That fixed the issues with head 2...
I tried troubleshooting many different things. Swapped HDC cables, Tested fuses, Completely shutting off and pulling the main power cable. Nothing worked. Ended up swapping in an older used head we had laying around and it worked great. So i am not sure what the problem was with the head...
We have a JFX200-2513. It is a CMYK+CLCLWW Configuration. It was printing just fine, went to print another job and head 2 stopped working entirely, no white or gloss. When I do a nozzle check, there is no print from head 2. When I do a clean, I can see ink purge out of head 2. I have cleaned and...
I have done several air purges, does not seem to make a difference. I will do nozzle checks and clear will pretty much not show up until I do a clean, then the clear will be fine. The filters were replaced with what PDS specified for filters for this color and ink type setup.
