  1. Did y'all see what some "designer" did to poor Pope Francis' Tomb??

Not sure if I understand your question, but I may be the source of the confusion. The photos are genuine. The flat mockup and the floating mockups are my additions.
  2. Did y'all see what some "designer" did to poor Pope Francis' Tomb??

There's no significance to the spacing; it is just his name in Latin. For thousands of years people will have a glimpse into the dark ages of computer kerning (I hope that's what it was!!)
  3. Issues printing 1" round labels with lots of detail

Also I'm not familiar with Onyx Thrive, but does it have a preview that is showing the details that aren't printing? To echo (almost) everyone else here, this is not a print quality issue. This issue lives somewhere in the file-RIP interaction.
  4. Looking for someone with Gerber Edge or with ability to print on metallic gold and match Edge colors

I've got a customer that eight years ago I did some decals for fire trucks with and I subbed it out to someone who had a Gerber edge. They don't have one anymore and now I'm trying to find a replacement.
  5. Outsourced some laser engraving - is this quality reasonable?

Well the quality wasn't reasonable but at least the vendor was; he's going to replace it for us. Also though, funny story—the customer asked for a rigid sign and approved the material, and this morning I asked for details about the surface it's going on, so I could get them the right tape. They...
  6. Outsourced some laser engraving - is this quality reasonable?

We had a company make this sign for us. I think this looks really bad. I can just barely see the texture from 8 ft away. CLoser in is bad. Even far enough away it looks like a dirty white instead of a white, I'm guessing because of all the little shadows. My partner is like don't worry about...
  7. How to adhere (and remove) coro signs from box truck?

Thanks y'all, I convinced him to do decals. I'm going to use some of that 6 mil mactac/GF/Alpha removable
  8. How to adhere (and remove) coro signs from box truck?

Man I wish - that would be perfect. I forgot to mention that he can't alter or damage the thing because it's borrowed.
  9. How to adhere (and remove) coro signs from box truck?

chester215 I didn't realize that was a link at first, I thought you were like Given the initial obligatory responses to most questions on here it seemed par for the course :roflmao: To be fair, some of y'all are pretty damn funny!
  10. How to adhere (and remove) coro signs from box truck?

Client wants to take multiple 4x4 and 4x8 coro signs and display them on a BORROWED box truck for the next few weeks. He's not going on the expressway but is otherwise driving it from place to place. He really wants to avoid putting them on every time he parks as he will be alone when doing...
  11. Sticker Mule needed a permit

Reminds me of the time I fired a salesman - I found out that "as a joke" he was flashing a card that supposedly allowed him to hunt a certain group of people. I had to go full Navin Johnson on him.
  12. Differences Between Screen Printing and Pad Printing

No idea why this is being done. Also no idea why it makes me SO angry
  13. Looking for advice on a stainless flat logo on commercial dishwasher

My customer has a stainless steel commercial dishwasher. I wanted to make an approximately 12" wide x 3" tall stainless script logo, the thinner the better, to flush mount to it. I've already gotten advice on how to mount it. I'm hoping to get polished as opposed to brushed if it's possible...
  14. Non-mechanical stainless to stainless?

I need to mount an ~12" wide cut stainless script word to the outside of a commercial dishwasher. I need to mount it to the door and unfortunately when it slides open it slides in front of the wall of the unit with very little clearance between panels. The wash water is 170 degrees so the...
