There's no significance to the spacing; it is just his name in Latin. For thousands of years people will have a glimpse into the dark ages of computer kerning (I hope that's what it was!!)

Also I'm not familiar with Onyx Thrive, but does it have a preview that is showing the details that aren't printing? To echo (almost) everyone else here, this is not a print quality issue. This issue lives somewhere in the file-RIP interaction.
