When you made the outline, is there a tiny offset? like 0.001?
If not, it shouldn't do that, but you could also make sure that the outline mode is set to the solid square, not the one with a hole.
JPG the only option for uploading? In certain files Ive seen PNG come out far smaller. Large patches of solid color and sharp edge graphics will both look better and be a lot smaller file in PNG format. For photographs with lots of gradients the JPG will be smaller (generally)
Schedule a meeting and talk it out. Heck, you might be able to wrap cars for the city once they see how nice your work is. Lots of larger cities will have promo type vehicles (we did a trailer + golf cart for a DUI awareness program where they get to try and drive with drunk goggles!). Could...
Just got this email a few minutes ago through the contact form on our site. It is usually very good about blocking spam bots, so this is probably a real person manually entering the information on thousands of sign and wrap shop sites.

In the office I use a Dell 34" 3440x1440.
At home I use a Samsung 40" 4K TV
The trick to getting a proper 'monitor' out of a TV is to make sure it is 4:4:4 Chroma for clear text and HDMI 2.0 input for less lag.
Here is a link to rtings that explains exactly why, but essentially a good 4:4:4...
We've been having this problem with Flexisign 11 where it will drop a color (usually black) or the cut line when using the 'Send to Versaworks' command. Typically I can catch the issue in the print preview, but I'm always worried on a complex graphic or a large wrap that I will miss seeing it...
Check out the new Arlon SLX. $850 for a full kit. Installs like a dream. No idea on the long term durability since it is new, but we just wrapped a landscape box truck with it and it printed great and installed easy.
I don't assume a 4'x8' is ready to go, though oddly enough most of those come with perfect corners. I do assume when I pay a material supplier to cut the material for us to 40" x 120" that it is in fact 40" x 120" and usable. I work in a shop that does embroidery, screen printing, signs...
Thanks. I suspected it was the delivery driver also, but we've had instances where the packaging was perfectly intact but the material inside was ruined.
I've had them replace a few jobs. Sometimes they send out the sales rep in his pickup truck to deliver instead of the delivery driver, and...
I realize I set pretty high standards for the work that I do, so maybe I expect too much from our suppliers, but I'll let you tell me. I've worked as the only graphic designer / sign shop employee at my current job for a little over 5 years now, so I see every sign that gets made and every blank...
Sure. Honestly it's just a few shapes repeated and altered slightly, and a few curves that use variable width profiles, and either radial or linear gradients. The trickiest bit was playing with feathering and layer transparency set to screen or lighten until it achieved the effect I wanted.
