  1. Falcon outdoor 62 Heater problem

I did exactly the same thing with mine. Soldered the wires back and no heat. There's a white block on there which controls the heat. If it gets too hot it switches it off. This may need replacing. I replaced it for around £2gbp and it worked perfectly.
  2. Falcon gone crazy

Hi all, not a good day today with my falcon printer. First started out with a blocked pump, 20 minutes later and all cleaned out and back to printing a nice print. Then after a foot of printing, it decides to stop. Now, I've had this before and its usually the ip address. So I changed the ip...

  5. Broken heater strip

I found the little piece of metal wire for the left hand side connection. I soldered all connections back together and now I have no heat from the front heater. I've cut open the orange bulge under the platen to expose the fuse, but that has continuity. Are there any other fuses for the...
  6. Broken heater strip

The heater on my falcon wasn't as hot near the right hand side as the centre and left side so I took the casing off and tried to get 2 wires to unclip. I could see the problem straight away. The heating strip had come away from the platen. But I lost my grip and dropped the platen ending in...
  7. Wiper not working

you may have broken a little piece of plastic that comes from the wiper arm to the white cog on the pump when you removed it.
  8. Rockhopper 2 problems

I bought a rockhopper 2 in need of repair. Was told that it didn't work at all. No power to the unit what so ever. So I bought it as it was really cheap to see if I could do anything with it and if not strip it for spares. Anyway, I got it back to my unit and tried switching it on. And the guy...
  9. Mutoh CPU

Is it possible to get hold of a mutoh falcon cpu chip rather than buying a whole new motherboard? If so, where can I get one? Cheers Mark
  10. Job Board

Its got to the point where I'm lost in what I'm doing at work. I've got job sheets and post its all over the place. Do any of you have a job production board at your place of work. I'm looking at putting one together but can't figure out the best layout. I need it to have things on like, to...
  11. Printing Abrassion guard with Roland PC-60

Thanks for that. I did think about film laminate, but how does that work with realigning? Once the print has finished, if I take it out, I've noticed that when I put it back in again to cut it doesn't find the same position. Cheers Mark
  12. Rockhopper 2 head cable order

I bought a used rockhopper 2 in need of repair and I'm almost there with it. The only thing is the heads had been taken out and cleaned but not put back in. I've now put the heads in but the cables don't seem to be in any order or are marked for which cable goes to which head. Can anybody help...
  13. Printing Abrassion guard with Roland PC-60

Hi all, Don't know if this should be on the Roland section or the flesign forum, but here goes. I need to add an abrassion guard to prints on the pc-60. I have an abrassion guard refill as I couldn't find an original cassette. Due to this there is no proper barcode sticker for it. I called the...
  14. Roland PC-60 Abrasion Guard help

Does anybody know what barcode to use for the abrasion guard cassette? And how to actually use it in flexisign? Cheers Mark
  15. Flexisign keeps shutting down

No I haven't done anything different or installed anything. The only thing I did was plug in an 8 port usb adapter. I even unplugged that and rebooted and still nothing.
