thank you all for the assitance...did definety post this in a few forums as wasnt sure which one would give me the quickest response and best answer...im slowly learning how this forum works

no cutter does not beep

when powered up the motor spins and works normal but as soon as i reattach to machine and jackshaft gear it seizes and doesnt want to move the gear. if i take it away from gear motor runs...i can manually move (fairly easy) the cutter back and forth and gear seems to spin/work fine

and ive just figured out why the text thing wasnt working....the fonts i was working with dont have lower case lettering so all i needed to do was put caps lock on and poof...can type letters again :rolleyes::rolleyes:

i really appreciate it...so now that i got that problem fixed now my machine wont move back and forth. oh the joys of graphic design lol

hey all im having issues running my cutter (gs15 plus) back and forth and not sure exactly why. the motor that runs that gear and belt runs fine when detached from jackshaft gear but as soon as i connect the 2 together the motor seems to seize. i can manually move the cutter back and forth...

thank you so much as this has rectified my issue...the fonts i was trying to use (MONUMENT MOD. ROMAN-SR REV.A and MONUMENT MOD. ROMAN AK -GSP REVA) seems to have letters available but when im in the textbox only numbers work so im still a little perplexed by this but again thank you for this...

as would i but its just that program i cant type text into...this forum is fine to use text...internet, corel draw and any other programs i use...just composer 7.0...its boggiling my mind
