Digitech printers have been solid work horses in our shop for about 6 years. i appreciate their reliability but truly appreciate the service responsiveness when issues occur. I don’t remember a printer ever being down longer than 2 days.
The grommet looks like a long neck (or long barrel) grommet. Grimco has them.
A wholesaler like FireSprint should be able to produce the signs if you provide the score and cut patterns.
The Digitech prints great on aluminum. We run both full sheets and cut sheets of aluminum. If your job is fixed sizes you might be happier with cut sheets. We found that the router couldn‘t keep up with the printer on .063.
Those are all good brands. If a good engraver seems too expensive, then my advice is to keep buying from wholesalers until they aren’t. Enrgraving stock isn’t cheap and you will be surprised at the cost of the learning curve. Our Vision is a solid workhorse but it took months of mistakes to...
Look into Digitech. Their equipment is easy to maintain with Operators handling most repair issues with phone support. We’ve been running their equipment for about 6 years and I don‘t remember ever being down for more than 48 hours.

The number one thing I look for in a new printer is an excellent support eco-system. Techs, parts, media and profiles are as important to me as the printer.
Do you have white ink and gloss/matte finish on your Colorado? I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading my 1650 and really want to know how good the white is and the real cost for white ink. (I've heard they spit a lot.) I also haven't identified a steady market to justify the flex finish.
