    Hi All
    Just joined this forum, I'm not a signmaker by trade however I'm trying to gather information for my Father in law. Currently, he has a Gerber 4-B showing an error code 16, I was wondering if anyone has had any experince with this error. thanks for any information.

    we have many other options to do a job, but I still have my smc 4 (older than a 4b)
    it was my first piece of sign equipment
    I just cut a small job on it this morning

    Thanks for the information, I've tried replacing one of the stepper motors and realign the spindle according to the manual, I also replaced the belt, but it still has an issue when comes to cutting letters like O'S or S's anything that has a radius it just rips the vinyl because the blade isn't turning correctly. At this point, I'm running out of ideas. Thanks again for the response.
