Hello,
I just started using the RS-540 and the take up core is just a tube with media. How do you guys get the media off the core after it has been taken up?
On the Mutoh there is a bar running thru the core. I made a holder that the bar sits on and I can pull the media off the roll on my...
Very nice work
I like that look.. reminds me of the work the painters I know and learned from (now their retired). There is nothing like a work of art when its been painted after the layout as you I'm sure know..
Thanks for sharing Rick
Find out how much you can buy the graphics for (unless you can make them your self). Either way what ever the cost is to produce the product +40% + labor $95 per hour.
If or when you screw up the graphics you can afford to buy a replacement set and still do OK on the job. If they don't want...
I charge $95 per hour for any time I spend wether digging a hole or sitting behind a desk designing. Depending on the job my customer may see it on the invoice or it my be absorbed in the proposal for work.
If some one comes to me for a design only there is a $250 retainer and $95 an hour each...
Hi All,
Long time since Ive had time to be at Signs 101.. but I need to get a new Floor mat vendor. The other two I used have gone out of business.
I am looking for a supplier who can produce full color 3-ft x 5-foot mats.
any help would be great..
Thanks,
Some times Ink can collect on the ribbons causing voltage problems. I have had some strange problems with my 1204 too and one time it was just a matter of replacing the cable from the main board to the CR Motor Board.
I spoke with Mutoh and the tech said to use the 1204 and set the media up to 54.. he mentioned the 1604 had some small differences in the driver but the 1204 was the same with the exception of media size.
Well the 1204 driver does let me print larger if I use "User Define" The 1304 driver I used would not even load.. as soon as the Dll files were out the problem went away on both printers.. Maybe it got damaged during down loading.
randya,
I will give your suggestion a try when I feel like...
Just a heads up,
The Drivers for the 1304 are not compatible with Flexi 8.1vx and only work with Flexi 8.5
I installed the drivers per Mutoh's instructions and all my prints printed 1/3 the size. After beating my head in for a few I tried to print on our 1204 and they started coming out...
No I did not get the package yet! but she seems to be working for now.. printed all day without a glitch!
Also thank you so much for your help you were right the first time with it just being the T fence its just when I installed the new one I think I got A finger print on it.
Check it out...
OK So I cleaned the "t" fence and that did not work, So I got a new one.. and it gave me a new error message!! WTF..??? so MacDaddy sugested I remove the protective coating.. Yeah that was smart..LOL
So then I get the same error. then Denco calls back to see how things are going. and I told...
The print head is up and is not striking the media. Its some sort of error. the print is also stair-stepping to the right. We will see when I get parts tues.
I will also look at the capping station.
Cool your heaters off a bit the colder they run the less banding but then you get pooling and other stuff but just try cooling them down it may take the edge off till you figure out the real issue is.
