Maintenance station is a couple months old I'm getting cross contamination in one damper after replacing all of them. It seems like I'm getting a good seal on the cap. Head is about five years old. I'm replacing the manifold next hoping its the problem. Missing a majority of nozzles.

Maybe you pulled cleaning fluid into the head and that's why the nozzle check showed blanks. If it's under warranty I would go that route. I wouldn't mention anything about trying to fix it yourself incase of voiding the warranty. My 1604 is doing the same thing but no warranty so plz update.

Cold laminator for installing vinyl on substrates, lays perfect every time.

In a pinch you can try printing on clear and apply that over the reflective I have found the colors look a little better but I think it's less reflective. If you're trying to match a previous order than you are missing something.

There are a videos on youtube showing it being done, there are few videos for mutoh but the Dx5 was also used on Epson printers so there are many more videos under Epson Dx5 Printhead their might be different set-ups with the dampers etc. but the manifold and printhead are the same assembly.
