Damper was my first thought too, which was replaced first. I believe this is worse when I raise the head when printing banners. it still does it when the head is lowered just not as bad.
First off I have an sp540 everything was just cleaned or replaced including new pump and i'm still getting these stripes in the blues and blues only. Anyone have any suggestions ?
Oh yeah it only does this on banner material, and yes i have tried more than one type.

I have been using the Hartco 530 HS and it works awesome! No problems with the premask sticking and it has a thick plastic backing that is very difficult for the cutter to cut through. We have gone through 3 30" rolls with no problems.
