Just got done doing this myself. Using forceps pinch off waste lines. Fill cap with cleaning solution let sit for 30 min. Run one cleaning cycle then hook a syringe to the magenta line and pull about 20 ml. Make sure you forceps to pinch off the other waste line so it will draw. Run one more...

Nevermind, I found it. The little lever on the side of the head carrier was the ticket. Two clicks of the lever now prints perfect

I know I've done this before but can not remember what to call it. But lets say when you have black text in a color I have a slight white gap on the upper and right of the font. I don't think this is pf adjust. Do I need to align head better? seem to happen more cyan and black. Print amazing...

Not familiar with that cutter but generally the little wheels in the pinch rollers get worn and cause tracking to wonder. Techs will say replace the whole pinch rollers $40 ea but the just wheels ($10 for all) will fix it.

Already have a new manifold. Those are readily available. Got one from solventinkjet.com just not willing to spend $1900 on head. Again sign-in-china has heads for 1204 for 1400 but I think that's still too much. Found heads from other venders in china for around $1k. Just trying to find...

Unfortunately $1900 is not in the cards. Found unlocked dx5 Mutoh head quoted for $1100 with shipping so far. Still looking for the elusive unlocked F1860000 head for $700

Anyone use a head form sign-in-china? Need to find a new head but not sure who to get it from at a reasonable price. Have used a maintenance station form s-i-c and worked perfectly but a head is a whole different deal.

Might as well add to this thread. Picked up a used 1204 for crazy cheap. Was not working when I got it. Printed magenta at first, now have it printing magenta and a little cyan. Replaced maint station and dampers. Have a manifold coming. I believe the problem is, air in the lines on one...
