Ok, so here's my dilemma. I have CC open with two different files side by side. Same PMS color 369 is chosen for each and yet they appear different. Checking the CMYK percentages shows each file has them set differently. My document mode, color settings are the same in both files. Any idea why...

For our Mimaki we use Oracal's profiles for any vinyl that does not have an actual profile. Our customers seem happy with it. We do not actually use Oracal vinyl.

What print media are you using?

We always use the Engine Spun Gold Leaf, but GINO is correct, you may get a truck that is the REAL gold so it won't match exactly.

This is definitely the first thing I usually try. We have this happen all the time. We have had techs try and figure out why it is off so often and they never really know. Doing this should help but you will probably have to do it at least a month. We've had ours 2 years now and still have this...

Oh we definitely did both times and finally told them we won't fix it again as it is due to their negligence.

So after further discussion with supplier and client, power washing in the extreme cold was the culprit. Water from the power washing got behind the graphics and froze. We have never seen it happen like that before .

Thanks for the help. I'll double check everything when we replace the graphics.
