i did the damper swap already. I changed the two magenta dampers to the cyan head and the two cyan dampers to the magenta head and the problem stayed in the head as magenta (in the cyan head) printed perfect! so that´s not a supply side problem. Vacuum side i changed all caps and tubes. No...

i ordered and installed a new head. PROBLEM STILL HAPPENING!!!!! I changed everything and nothing changed. Could it be a software problem? Or cables?

i changed also the tubes that go to the pumps and the color with the problem was the same so i think is not the pump. So: - all the ink system including the dampers are OK - the ink itself it´s OK - the pumps are OK - the caping station is OK - all calibrations are OK so it leaves me the head...

thank you for this post. It seems a very good workflow to diagnose the problem. Can i change colors that easy? won+t the colors be all messed up??? just take one off plug other? should i drain all ink off first? how? when you say change ink lines do i keep the dampers in the head or change...

i checked those o-rings and they seem fine to me. I made some tests with a syring and i think everithing is ok with the lines. The only thing i can´t tell if it is OK are the pumps. how can i check if they are ok? but if the problem is pump, doesn´t the yellow should have problems as it shares...

no it is always doing the problem. I notice now it does it from the beginning of the print. A thin line but that lines gets thicker when the print is going on

if they clog a nozzle the test print shouldn´t be with missing nozzles?

where do i put the syringe? directly in the damper where it connects to the head? or in the tube that comes from the cartridges? phil braham: dampers and head are new. Can a head have problems when it prints perfect in the test print? Compilla: what is PF adjust ? thanks all for trying to help!

i´ve been using Triangle since day one so i don´t think that is the problem. the dampers are new. And i changed them twice just to have sure that was not the problem :banghead:

I open this thread to do a fresh start on my problem as i´m getting out of solutions. So, my magenta is doing severe banding as shown is image below. All other colors are perfect. It starts printing OK (not perfect as the other 3 colors) but after a while it starts getting worse. It looks like...

It makes the problem in different materials (banner, vinyl) of different brands so the problem is not the media or the profile as i try different profiles according to the material i´m using Calibration is OK as it starts with no banding at all and keeps with no banding in all colors except...

didn´t understand very well what do you mean but i think is the first option. I can see the line immediatly. Then in every pass it makes more lines

no. The test print is perfect! Before and after the print

please see the photo in the first post. the banding is only after some time of printing. If i stop and restart it gets good again but then the same problem so it´s not calibration for sure :(

i replaced all dampers a month ago. didn´t noticed the o-rings :S all other colors are printing perfectly. only magenta as trouble. the heaters are ok
