Hello All, just got a call from a longtime client... he needs an estimate on approx. 3600sqft of frosted sparkle Vinyl... and then says oh yeah, i need this by tomorrow night?? we've never installed this much at once..., especially frosted vinyl .... im confident in my installers...

i have a question regarding exterior mounted textured surface vinyl... what is a realistic life expectancy on these .. we have installed quite a number of these on interior applications, some over 1.5 years, with little or no noticeable change, or lifting...and a few that were up for short term...

Bartman,... i had the same issue just about a week or so ago.... i spoke with graphtec tech support.. they walked me through all the settings.. everything was pretty much on.. except we did change the sensor pressure i believe to a setting that prowraps had suggested in an early post..we also...

actually i miss posted ... the rolls were of the 8518... gloss.. 1/2 the roll looked matte???

Nah.. our prints outgassed for 48 hours... part of the wrap was laminated with a second roll of 8519 .. maybe 60 square ft.... no change in appearance on those pieces .. luckily it was the rear of the truck, so it didnt match up to the sides of the box truck..weird.... how is only 1/2 the roll...

wow.. we just lamed a fell wrap 3m180 v3 with 8519 and the right half of the entire roll was kinda cloudy... didnt notice until we completed laminating?? gave the customer the option of changing, but it was for a short term promotion ( 1month) so they just went with it.. offered him a discount...

Got It Working... :U Rock: bob; i dont know if it was the pf adjust that i did or the sensor adjustment that ProWraps suggested in a previous post...it was a matte lam. and most all the post were about people having issues with gloss? but changed the sensors to read x=70 y=70 on the plotter...
