  1. LEJ-640 FT UV Flatbed problems. Ending my silence

We have been running our 640FT since September and haven't seen even close to the issues you have attached. All of our prints, solid colors and all, turn out really smooth. Occasionally we get a little banding here and there, but after cleaning the heads and lamps, it goes away. Sounds like you...
  2. Laminating UV Inks?

We have laminated UV inks in the past with standard Oraguard 210 right to Dibond without any problems. We are using a 12' RollsRoller.
  3. Looking for feedback on the Roland LEJ-640FT flatbed

We have been running the LEJ-640FT since September, and it is a great addition to the shop. We also run an XR-640, and got the LEJ to take some of the pressure of running absolutely everything on the Sol-Jet. Once we got the hang of the LEJ, it's a fantastic machine in my opinion. We run enough...
  4. Typeface ID

    Perfect! Thanks much!
  5. Typeface ID

Sorry this is broken up the way it is. Any help is much appreciated.
  6. Font ID

The type looks like it's been live traced or something, so it's hard for an exact match. The closest I could come up with was Komu: http://www.fontspring.com/fonts/dizajndesign/komu You might be able to slightly tweak it to get it right. Hope that helps!
  7. flat bed printers

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents of experience with our flatbed... We have been running our Roland LEJ-640FT for a couple of months now. We run it in conjunction with our XR-640. It's not a speed machine by any means, we have been clocking full 4x8 sheets in about half an hour, depending on...
  8. Flatbed or "FlatBad" Printers?

We have been running a Roland LEJ-640FT for a couple of months to take some of the pressure off our XR-640, and it has turned into a really nice addition to our shop. There has been very little color correction between the two machines. For our needs, we went with double white cartridges instead...
  9. Typeface ID Please

    Thanks! Much appreciated.
  10. Typeface ID Please

I'm sorry I don't have a better example. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
  11. Help before I jump...

We have a 12' RollsRoller; have had it for almost 4 years and it's fantastic. Use it for lamination, mounting vinyl to substrates and taping large pieces of cut vinyl after weeding. It reduces our waste also, because we can cut off only what we need to use for laminate. I would highly recommend.
  12. I thought this was going to be an easy one

Nothing came up as an exact match, just trying to get you as close as possible. Any chance it's hand-drawn lettering and not a handwritten font?
  13. I thought this was going to be an easy one

That's a tough one. The closest I can find is Amersand http://www.dafont.com/ampersand.font?fpp=100&text=tyfdam or Progeny Bold http://www.fontspring.com/fonts/type-associates/progeny
  14. New Versaworks DUAL Rip?

Versaworks currently does that, We run 2 printers and one plotter off the current Versaworks, all simultaneously.
  15. Versaworks File Error

The only frustrating part is that we run three machines off of Versaworks, so when the error occurs and I am trying to upload to Versaworks while something is printing, I have to wait the length of the print before I can restart Versaworks to add more files. And watching printers print is like...
  16. Versaworks File Error

Exactly the same here. So odd...
  17. Versaworks File Error

The file type is PDF or EPS due to adding Contour Cut Lines, so flattening/rasterizing it really isn't an option. I know that Verwaworks in a bit finnicky about a lot of transparencies and effects, so I don't add them often or at all without flattening. In this case, it's a flattened bitmap with...
  18. Versaworks File Error

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone else has come across this error with Versaworks and what they did to remedy it. It seems to be happening more and more frequently. My usual fix is to simply restart Versaworks and/or my computer, trying to clear the cache. After restarting, I am usually able to...
  19. xc540 - 400% coverage looks clean, calibration doesn't fix green gray

This is an oldie, but a goodie. We used to have the XC-540. We changed to an XR-640 with the light black ink cartridge and it has done wonders for us as far as printing grays and beige.
  20. Roland GX 400 crop mark question

Are you cutting right out of Flexi or using Versaworks?
