at that many machines, that's quite normal, and good. an inhouse guy to change blades, change belts, and make sure the machines are running 100% would mean the operators are just cutting and not worried about the tooling.

Wow, this is a big task. I can appreciate the planning involved with workflow tasks. We use a similar system, but it's more linear but we're much smaller so it's easier to manage workflows. You have inspired me to do a video on our shop and workflow over the break.

You will need some kind of RIP software to print. so you'll either need to pay to the latest version/subscription, or buy another RIP software.

You dont need to laminate colorado prints. The ink is that durable.

Out of all the properties, uv has a smaller gamut. Other than that, It has no dry time. No outgassing. Colorado white is better than latex. Other uv white is okay, latex still has a nicer white. But... UV like the Colorado or other higher end machines. Cheaper to run, cheaper inks, faster...
