Having the cutting strip and cutting channel on the graphtec is better for die cut stickers.
The summa can do this, but it does it on the cutting strip, means more wear and usually slower.

Our techs are good, they'll change them if they think it's time. We get the most random parts changed if they think it's time to replace.
Really? we only just changed ours after 4 years.
Our tech said there's no real need to change them unless they're stuffed. Although they are a consumable, there is a dispute this should be a service replaced item and not under general maintenance as it's not a simple job for most people.

When upgrading the firmware on the Colorado, it's basically a full re install of the software. So if there was a bug or known bug that may have affected your printer, the update generally fixes it.

There's so many ways to get your name out there. The paper wouldn't be my first choice.

To get around this issue, Im pretty sure it was a barcode placement issue. If you have the barcodes top and bottom, it should be ok. If they're left and right, with intermediate marks, it'll have issues...
