  1. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

Do head washes, they work pretty well. Gently wipe the nozzle plate and platen down with cleaning solution as well. make sure your wipers are nice and straight. Also, go and check your wiper gap, covered in service manual. Old ink building up on the nozzle plate will cause deflected heads.

Silicone o-ring/seal grease works fine. Subtank just clips on, remove lines and sensors first. Run subtank discharge as shown in service manual and mark sensors to avoid mixing them up.
  3. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

Can flush the lines, but if the errors continue, I highly recommend subtanks. I keep one spare when working on these since they are usually the issue on ink supply issues.
  4. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

Need a special software tool for that.

Air lines are fine, the color is the markings for pressure (orange) and vacuum, (blue). If your black lines are replaced and ink is able to flow to all channels, discharge and refill the subtanks to see if they complete the operations properly.

Will not let you do that, but can clear it with an overflow maintenance cycle. If it doesn't clear, there might be damage to the subtank.
  7. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

Can just keep running on 10% for a while. As for the ink overflow, a common error to get when working on printer. Should clear up when lines are cleared and ink/vacuum system is up and running properly.

You're greasing the rollers/tubing. When you open a pump, you should see a generous amount of grease, even if it is contaminated with ink. If you do one pump, might as well do them all. Only tools you need is Philips #2 and something to cut the tubing with as well as grease and zipties...
  9. LH-100 Yellow?

Looks correct. Remember, when jetting on a surface, it is put down a lot thinner than the droplets you're seeing. Also, for LH-100, I use STS, about $100 less per liter and their chips are programmed to last 2 years. Though, some folks are skittish about aftermarket inks.

Solventinkjet sells the tubing on his site by the foot. Clean the pump body out and regressed it with silicone grease. Fittings are reusable, can use a small zip tie as a hose clamp if need. Buying random tubing is about an 80% failure rate. Speaking from experience there.
  11. Mimaki JFX200-2513 Printer is dropping off entire yellow color

Sounds like you might have air getting into the head. Do an air purge? Also, you're in the classifieds section. Mimaki section is here: https://www.signs101.com/forums/mimaki.208/
  12. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

I use a union barb fitting to pull the main cable chain stretch in. Can also try some tape. For bottle tank all the way to the main line, I just replace section by section, so I only have to measure one part at a time. Just use factory tubing (or known good aftermarket), less chance of things...
  13. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

You need new black line, plain and simple. I have some spare if needed, otherwise it's like $110 for 10ft.
  14. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

On the head cable pairs is usually a lockdown wedge that keeps the cable clips spread out. Sometimes it is held on by zipties and those have to be removed first.
  15. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

The clip fittings typically need very little force to disconnect, but they might need to be pushed down to help disengage them. Room above the heads is definitely tight, but if you have a spare clip connector attached to a bit of tubing and a syringe, just rotate the fitting to face up and...
  16. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

4 is black, correct. Need to see if the line is clogged. DO NOT TRY AND CLEAN OR MANUALLY FILL SUBTANKS, it usually kills them. Unhook the line from underneath the bottle station solenoid valve and the line attached to the subtank. If you have a spare clip-style fitting, use it to gently push...
  17. Need Help Color outliers with 150-160 UV

Need to be in service mode. When turning printer on, hold Func1 & Func3 keys until the printer beeps. Go to menu and there will be the #TEST, #ADJUST and #PARAMETER menus available.
  18. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

Can cut the old ink with a bit of flush by pouring some flush straight into the bottle stations. Want to get ink flowing ASAP as it can block the lines over time (white ink and black ink can be the worst about plugging lines) and especially to get white ink flowing. If possible, pull the...
  19. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

If you have the electronics running good, just run a few nozzle washes. Will prompt you to clean the caps and wiper and then to fill the cap. Let the head soak and it will run a cleaning cycle. Run nozzle check, repeat. Line flushes require changing ink bottles for flush and will use a lot of...
  20. Need help getting a used Mimaki UCJV300 running again

If you need to do a line flush from the ink supply side, use 1 liter bottles of Mimaki flush.
