I am trying to get a good to red to black gradient in illustrator and the center where the two meet ends up as an ugly gray, is there a good combination that looks good?
I had in my CS5 an option under my file menu that was named "send to signlab print and cut" this was obviously installed when i installed signlab. My problem is that I just upgraded to cs6 and this option is gone and it was a very valuable short cut. Anyone know if there is a way to install...
We recently upgraded our printer from the SP-540 to the VS-540 and installed Versaworks and everything is fine except there are some factory profiles wont work I get an error saying there is an issue with the profile. My question is, is there a way to reload the factory profiles, my thinking is...
We are thinking about getting a new flatbed printer and did some research and saw a HP printer at the sign show and was considering that one but after hearing bad reviews on it decided to stay with Roland and have researched the LEJ-640 and it looks good but I would like some actual user reviews...
that would make it a lot easier thats for sure and no pulling up later, im sure this sprinter is coming back for that some time. like i said this was the ugliest color of orange and the graphics were black so im sure you would have seen the sides but its either that or have stretched vinyl with...
In this situation we had to wrap them, it was a orange sprinter and the graphics were black so no choice there, we use the avery 1005 but maybe i will try the 3m next time if possible
we just did a full wrap on a sprinter van and on the sides where the deep pockets are we just went over them as any indent and afterwards went over with a bit of heat and pushed the center of the vinyl in and then the edges but that is a far distance to stretch the vinyl and of course the color...
I am trying to find the proper profiles for Avery film to use on our Roland SJ1000 or SJ1045EX but they aren't listed on the Avery site. I am going through all the profiles in versaworks but I am getting a lot of banding that I cant seem to get rid of and the colors are off. Can anyone suggest...
I am always unsure of a good font to use on directional signs such as 12 x 18 no parking signs, fire route, etc. In the past I have used impact and transport heavy but neither of these really look good to me so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a really good font choice for these.
Since we are doing the whole truck I would like to take the whole side image into versaworks and clip the section of the bed and print that horizontally and then print the cab of the truck vertically so that the seams fall in the "cracks" of the doors and the quarter panel of the truck...
We are looking to upgrade our Roland sp-540 and are considering the Roland 640. Before we make the final decision I was wondering everyone's thoughts on the best print and cut printer. Must be able to handle at least 54 inch media. My concern is that with our current 540 when I print...
We have always printed our wraps in vertical tiles widths of 50 inches. When we do this we have 4 or 5 panels and therefore have 4 or 5 seams to try and line up, which never seem to line up properly. I have always wondered if it would be better to print the panels horizontally and have only 1...
Here is the type of drum we are wrapping
these ridges are what is giving me the problems and the prints are small logos on white on the bottom two spots with a checker board pattern on top ( I dont have a picture here at home)
We have a customer that has brought in 40 steel drums that he wants wrapped for a nearby speedway with sponsor logos. I am on number two and it takes a couple hours and even then I am not happy with the result so I am looking for any advice that anyone might help here. They are large oil drum...
had never heard of Fellers so I did a search and they seem to sell a lot of good stuff. Being in Canada though I doubt they will ship here (which is the usual) so I will have to see if one of our suppliers can order in the vinyl but I doubt it, it seems we are always behind in getting the...
Thank you everyone for the info, I think I may just order some vinyl in, the one customer came in today and wants a mossy oak pattern now so I am going to show him what we can get and be done with it.
I have two customers that want to wrap parts of their trucks in camouflage (got to love Duck Dynasty) and each want something like the realtree pattern. I have several regular camo patterns that I can tile but I cant find anything like realtree stuff. Does anyone know where to get it?
