  1. Sign Shop For Sale on Craigslist

http://waterloo.craigslist.org/bfs/2802098152.html Link to a sign shop for sale. Can anybody pick this apart and tell me what it's really worth? I'm just curious. Not interested personally, but maybe someone on here would be. Print Shop in Cedar Falls Closed. The first $15,000 can buy the...
  2. AbsoLUTEly fried....

Thanks for telling me what I should be getting for doing a little box truck. W H O A. I'll remember that sometimes you have to bid it high and collect the cash! Good job my friend.
  3. How do you price vinyl?

Do a few for friends and family. Figure out your time. Have a friend with a CriF**Kcut that could NOT do .65" letters on her machine. She wanted me to do about 6" x 12" of vinyl. If I would have had to weed that entire thing and install myself, it would have been $100 easy. It was spice labels...
  4. Interior Wall Lettering

Mosh, I thought your shop was too big to fool around with home decor! Do a lot of "professional" sign shops do home decor on order or would it fall under minimum order standards for most places! Sorry to be a thread pirate, but your question made me ask. As to what you are asking, I would...

I just signed up for this as well. Cool.
  6. who makes this cutter

More specifically a Panther produced by Vinyl Express/Sign Warehouse. Is it for sale? I have the exact same cutter sitting here in my office, except it's a 40" model. I love it. It's a professional level cutter capable of 600 grams of downforce and I forget the ips.
  7. Cost effective method to print 500 posters

The point is that it takes more time and money to print in-house than it does to send that order to a wholesaler and make 50 cents per poster.
  8. Critque?

Y'all don't realize how much I'm enjoying annoying the hell out of some of the "professional" sign makers here, appreciating the help of other sign makers that are closer to my level (Adtechia) and learning all I can. :flamey:
  9. Critque?

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I know I'm not anywhere in your league or the league of most of the people on here, I'm just trying to make a little money doing something that doesn't ruin my hearing aids (sweating!) and learn some new stuff and meet some cool people along the way. I work...

  13. Critque?

Maybe it's called starting out on a shoestring? I'm getting plenty of orders and compliments on my logo... it can always be changed in the future to reflect my design skills. Not doing much beyond basic design work at this time for anyone anyway. Wall art and yard signs don't take much. There...

  16. Critque?

Thank you for the encouragement... we brainstormed for awhile to come up with that. Have other crafters in my area named A La Bling and some other really cool names, so wanted something that that was catchy, easy to remember, and I could get the .com for.
  17. Critque?

I did 4 logos. This one is by far the best... just kept playing around with fonts and stuff and I thought this one really showed up good. What do you guys think? Thanks for the critique!!!!!
  18. Critque?

You do have a point there. I HAD the username JKA Design... my inital, my wife's inital, our last name initial and design after the end. IT was a pain in the ***, I want a business name that's sellable, if I can build this into a brand. Now I changed it to Jazzy Sign .com because it was short...
  19. Need Billboard design feed back ASAP!!

I like both of the suggestions on this page... but the DRIVE YOUR BILLBOARD is awesome. Get rid of the logo on the right hand side though. Its on the truck. Doesn't need to be in 2 places.
  20. Critque?

Thank you! I also need to learn how to lay out a decent design. So help me out here... I'm looking at your design and analyzing how it's done. Flexi 7. three rectangles, equally distributed. Slant rectangles. Create an Oval then copy, make it smaller, and rotated/expanded. Jazzy Signs typed in...
