I use a cutting mat with 1" squares on it, on top of 1/4" clear polycarbonate.

I prefer to stick with the OEM inks, I know that they work and do not want to risk anything with my equipment. How much are people saving with 3rd party inks, 5 or 10 cents a square foot? It just doesn't seem worth it compared to the reliability of the OEM inks.

I was buying it from signwarehouse but now Signs Plus Banners here in Minnesota was able to beat their price. They also now have the best price on all OraJet products in the area.

If your quantity is high enough your could use a corner notcher for the rounded corners. I have always just cut with a knife, and price accordingly.

That's why I like using Oracal vinyl. They put their white vinyl on a blue backing paper, makes it easier to see.

I do the same thing. Just print on the vinyl and apply to magnetic. Also that way I also use the .30 instead of the printable and thin .20 thickness

I too have never used Kraft paper when laminating with my Daige QM4. If my lam gets off center on a long run, I have never had a problem with it sticking to the rollers. I have been very happy with my Daige.

I recieved by 55" daige about 2 months ago, and it worked good right out of the box. Just noticed yesterday that is at the end of the roll and I never had any problems with rollers popping out.

I talked to Phillip at Signwarehouse Tech Support. He told me that unfortunately there is no way to clean just one color. He did not think it was right for me to loose all the ink in the machine so he sent me out a full set of 6 inks at no charge. Way to go Signwarehouse! Thanks for going...
