I think the one i hate the most is "Its *just* a sign all you have to do, is print it and put it on that plastic stuff, cant you do better with that price" I cringe when a customer says this.

That isnt normal for it to come to you that way, i have never had an issue when getting my gloss from my vendor. Id return it.

We have the production computer, printer, and cutter all hooked up to a battery backup which is plugged into the wall (this has saved by butt a few times) and then the laminator is plugged into a surge protector.

Like said before, they are temporary signage, and also used (down here) for people who live in HOAs who cant have permanent signage but want to use their vehicle as advertising. And four years is actually fairly good!
