I don't think this is the same issue but its what fixed my plotter I have a cg160fx.... I had to change the com port settings in my cut program. Even though I never changed my settings, when I did an update it seemed to reset my com port. Once I selected the correct port it worked fine for me.

So I think I came up with a solution on fixing my messed up cuts. But I don't know how to set it up. See attached.... How would I do this. I have my half cut working so I can punch out stickers, but how do I make 2 separate cuts on the same sticker?

did u check alignment and calibration? I know when changing a print head its good to go through your calibrations. It doesn't look too bad but I would try that. Also check all the cable to the head and your boards and make sure their properly seated. Make sure your machine is powered off and...

I don't think its dull, ill show you a picture when I get home, its almost like its not aligning correctly.... im not sure what offset does but maybe it has something to do with that

ill have to play with it more but it doesn't have a "half cut" setting it says something else... I have no problem cutting out shapes but I want them to be cut all the way through with a bit of perforation so I can punch them out by hand....

Long story short. My machine had alot of problems. Manifold broke on my magenta. Replaced it and i bumped a cable and fried my main board...Got it repaird from inkjetperformance and it works. Then i had a problem with my yellow head not firing both sides.... Visual inspection on the slider board...
