Besides: It seems easy to replace the head including cap and damper your self?
https://www.digiprint-supplies.com/en/vg-i-assy-inkjet-head-250l-6000006702
I looked at a YouTube video which seems relatively easy....
Any thoughts?
thx for your quick reply. I tested this immediately. Uni directional is slightly better but not acceptable. (files attached)
I'm out of options I guess.... besides calling for support and change the print head :-(
I will try cleaning the encoder strip. Where to find it?
Do I need to remove anything for this.
Default temp is set to 40 degrees celcius for the printbed and 45 for the last one.
Hi, were having issues with banding on our Roland VG2.
Problem exists in all solid colors and on different media types
See attachments:
- example
- gap adjustment checked
- calibration checked
- nozzle test checked
What else can we do to resolve this?
Any thoughts?
Thx in advance regards, Jovan
Hi, thx. there as a bit air in it. Removed it with a syring. Dampers are full too now.
Unfortunately still the same issue. No ink is flowing.
Any ideas?
We managed to replace the dampers and cap top.
Problem now is that the ink is, for some reason, not flowing anymore.
- powerful cleaning, no ink flow
- choke cl, no ink flow
- fill ink, no ink flow
what could be the cause of this?
Can someone help me out?
Hi, our VS540i is having banding issues.
Weird enough the banding only starts after approx. 10cm of printing. (the first 10cm are still perfect)
Already tried this without any result:
- print head cleaning
- print head soaking
- replace feed pinch rollers
- calibration
- change print temperature...
