I have seen unpainted HDU( sign foam 1) turn a burnt orange color and when you touch the area it turns to powder. But this was the old stuff. As stated, always paint both sides.

My source(Harbor) for this thin wall tubing and connector has discontinued selling them. Anyone seen these anywhere? Its 1''x1'' alum. with a .040 wall and corner connector? Thanks

We don't use any tape on this. Its pretty rigid. Pull a few inches of paper down on the back, line it up and tack it down. Similar to 223.

I mostly use Signfoam4, but it wasn't available for these jobs so I used Duna board.

We have had our JV100 for just over a year. We bought it during a sale they were running and the 3 year warranty was hard to pass up. Had a few quirks with it at first, but it works very well for us. Just search JV100 on the forum and you will see the post I made with the issues and resolutions...

What hardener did you use? The 207 is what we use for outdoor use.

About 9 mins in you see a heat transfer being used. Don't know if they call out what it is though.

Here's a new one for today. Printer is on. Went to do a nozzle test and the head moves out to print the pattern, printer beeps, head returns no pattern was printed and error 128 is on the screen. Power off the printer and turn it back on and now its clear and working as normal. Should I worry...

I haven't done it in awhile, but we would sometimes use something called TC resin on the letters. It was sort of an epoxy you mixed a little paint in and applied with a syringe. Added a little thickness and gloss.

I was wondering if anyone was still using Estimate 2.0 on Windows 10? It has been working fine for me until recently. Now when I try to print to PDF, the program stops on the creating PDF window and will not save the PDF. I know it's an old program, but it was working and I'm trying to figure...

We have been using the jv100-160 since August 2021. After a warranty issue was fixed, it has been printing great. Has little quirks here and there that could be better like the Ink thing. Just have a scale on hand. But as far as print quality, we are very happy.
