had an issue similar earlier this summer. for me, a change in humidity was the culprit. high humidity in St louis during the summer gave me some issues day to day. I have a humidifier for my printing lab that i adjusted to put in less humidity into the room and it seemed to help.

Humidity plays a big role too. if its too dry in your room, then it can cause deflections. I use Waterbased ink and when that happens its hard for my head to recover from that even if the humidity is is between 45-55%

Kinda looks like it might be static or deflected nozzles from ink clogs. I only use water based ink and when that happens its hard for me to recover. Humidity at proper levels is a must too that can help prevent that

I checked to see if the flushing fluid stays in the cap, and it does. So it is soaking, just not working. I agree with the humidity, optimal is 45-55%, I am at 35% consistently, if that was the issue, i would think I would see it in all or more than one color.
