I have to admit it, you are right. They are cheap plotters. You got what you pay for.. I ordered my graphtec ce5000. Can't wait to recieve it! but for the moment, i have to deal with this crap.

NO. my cutting width is 24"x600". The graphic is actually 6"x25". i changed the orientation so it should fit in there... I imported the graphic as a 6" graphic, and it cut very well.. Then i used the same graphic that i just imported, i just changed the size in Flexi... I scaled it up to 25in...

No f***!ng answer from Desay... thats what i thought... THEY KNOW THEIR PRODUCTS AIN'T SH!T and they know there is no solution... Master cutter ain't sh!t!! Im trying to cut a 25" graphic, which i usually cut in 6" with no problem, but my cutter doesn't do anything at all when i try to cut it...

Yeah but why you've been able to cut it, directly from BOTW, and not me? THAT is the mistery. It works for you, but not for me.

Wow the Graphtec ce5000 looks AWESOME. I'm sold. My xy-300p's up for sale. Comes with stand, flexi 7.5 and dongle, and the cable for mac users. Any offer? :D

already made those test. I opened the files in illustrator and cleared all graphic attributes. It becomes pure vector, with no colors, stroke, or any attributes. Back to basic.... i then select the vectors and choose black as the color. So at this point, it is 1 color, black only, with no other...

it worked very well.. 27" long... i wonder why some ppl can cut the oder file without problem and not me. It MUST be a setting issue, not the file itself.

I just wrote an email to Desay and explained the whole situation. I also refer them the this thread. Let see what gonna happen. Now they have the opportunity to proove that their products aren't crap.

Which value is your "optimize cutting order" is set to? mine was set to 10", but tried it at 30". Not better.

Those are screenshot of my setting... at this point, compare with yours, and let me know if you see something wrong. Let me know if you need to see other setting...

i tried what you just said, still got the same problem... like i said, i've tried many things in illustrator and flexi.. i know the graphic comes in 2 colors, but i've made it single black in illustrator. I just tried it in flexi (made it "solid fill") and choose black. not better. it only cuts...

AKWD, can you take screenshot of all your setting (flexi and production manager) and post them here? Or simply send them by email at v-dub4life@hotmail.com please????????? Would like to compare with mine!! Oh, and BTW, may i send you the files that im unable to cut??? i would like if you could...

I've never heard of a graphtec problem. And i used to work with a roland at my old job. Those are real machine.

...still making some test anyway LOL this bitch is a mystery.
