Does anybody have the new Seiko printers I hear they are really good and print faster then the L26's and the LX850. If anybody could help me out with this, we are currently looking for something more faster then the L26's and the LX850.

I have talked to caldera tech and they told me to dload the driver and the new updated version 9.20 and I have but I am still getting the driver error. We are using the grandrip+ 9.20.

Hey guys, I am trying to rip on the caldera for the lx850 and I keep getting driver error. I downloaded the driver again and installed it again but I am still getting the same error message. Can anybody help me with this please???

Oh I forgot to write yes I am at 100 restrictions, I am also going to make a new profile and lower the ink limit and check it out.

We print a lot on 3M180CV3 and Avery 1305, I did make my own profile because I cannot find a 3M profile with the 610 ink that lx uses. The ink limit I have set is 400%, HP told me keep it at that percentage. Yes you are right L26500 generic profiles are really good.

Good morning guys, we just recently bought a lx850 and i cannot print solid colors, unless its yellow or black, without getting heat marks every once in a while and banding. I have called techs from HP and outside techs and they say nothing is wrong with it it is just the "nature of the beast"...

Everytime I select clear Sheet when I load my media it won't change it to max dpi, it changes it back to indoor setting. Also on the RIP it tells me that i cannot use max dpi when mixing white ink with lighter inks.

Hey guys how would I print double strike on the HP Flatbed 700, I am using Caldera RIP software on Linux. Is there a setting on Caldera for double strike or on the printer itself. Thank You!

When I relinearized it, it said that it is not recommended. But I did make a brand new profile and the colors are good again.

Thanx so much, I will definitely try that right away...I am using a HP L26500 and the inks are Designjet 792...I do not remember the techs name. I did however create a new profile and the colors are matching again.

I forgot to ask how do you back profiles up on the caldera and load them up again. Thank You!

I haven't backed my profiles up, I talked to a caldera tech yesterday and he said to go ahead and make a new profile and my colors should be close to what I had before. So I will try that out
