the sprinter van is going well!! Mason totally saved my ass on this job...I woulda been so faaaked without him:U Rock: I still have to do the back and throw something on the front. I think my client will be totally stoked! Talk about perfect weather, awesome teacher and it was a blast! I was...
awesome!! I'll call my client today...yesterday they had deliveries so it should be back today....it's a beer van for a micro brewery. I'll call you as soon as I hear from him...hopefully by late morning.
Thanks Mason...you rock!:rock-n-roll:
Jilly that's good to know....cause we sign people can be super freaks:Big Laugh
Frank is a total dweeeb for sure and I throw up alittle in my mouth every time I hear his stuuuuupid recording....I'm like hurry up and answer the phone ffs!!!! BUT their prices are good and shipping is...
Mason....reallly????? You'd do that fer meeeee? I may have to take you up on that!! lol....seriously dude.
I think I'm getting this thing tomorrow...but it could be Saturday. Would that work for you? I can feel the stress releasing from my body as I type...........oh and I think I have this...

of course I bought the overpriced 3M rollers...but only the Vcat2 and roller S...I even...
No I didn't!! haha...it's all good! Nice to meet ya skyhigh! My prices are digital prints so naturally its going to be cheaper than hand painted. My customers are totally wanting fast and least amount of $. Everyone is going digital now so ya gotta roll with the changes...or ya lose that sale...
dude...read my post...that's outsourced...so chill man. Wouldn't dream of printing a 20ft banner when I can email a file and do nothing more than present my client with their finished hemmed/grommeted banner and an invoice...its not like I have a juki sewing machine sitting here to do that...
tricky? ya think? rot roh...I think my life may suck doing this job...lol.
I can't imagine installing tight into the channels and not getting all kinds of wrinkles in the corners....4ft x 6ft pieces. I'm still confused. I'll have to try to find a video of someone doing that way. Of course all...
so its about 44sq ft...If I did 13oz I would charge $4/sf ($175)and if it was 18oz I'd charge $5.50 sf $245....that's outsourcing and marking up almost double...saying that you're 3 X as much is a bit of a stretch....he's a Pinnochino...the bastard.
so I have to partial wrap this honking sprinter van(not new). I have tried to stay away from total wraps since I've had my Versacamm...almost 7 years because they don't last long for the money around the northeast...but I got this partial I have to do.
Anyhoo, the channels on this puppy are...
wow really...so you always cut with heat? My machine doesn't cut well with the heat on...it cuts too deep and it ends up off....but I have a 54" and its almost 7 years old...so maybe they've changed things. I'm always amazed how spot on it cuts even after lamination...love this machine!
I got an email from a long time client after I sent him an invoice for truck lettering...when I letter on location I charge a $25 location fee...PITA fee in my mind. why should I leave $ on the table. Not to mention I just lettered a truck last month for them and its been on every invoice since...
its all fixed....clogged and running low on black. the machine always beeps me when the ink is low so i don't know why it didn't. i didn't think too much of the ink running low because all the graphics were printing...but now that i look at them in daylight, i can see there was a black issue...
hey all!
so yeah this is a new for one me. i'm printing away tonite and these particular files have to have crop marks...for cutting after laminating.
it goes thru the motions...the faster printing for the marks...but no ink comes out...the graphics print fine...wtf? has anyone had this...
