What's the point? I looks like the majority goes dry. The only wet for me was model decals in 1968. Do you need pointers on technique? (dry) I'm sure someone has a reference to a great video and you'll never get your stuff wet again!
Amazing how easy it is. I've managed to get busy and not check the material feed too many times. Otherwise I would probably have never had the head strike in the first place. And watch the nasty little screens in the caping stations, they like to "pop" out and scratch the heads. Ouch! Congrats
Welcome to the forum!
When I started doing wraps (about 550 wraps ago) I used outsourcing. I suggest you do the same. Then watch the experts and see if that's what you want to do. You will not make as much money at first, but you will not spend as much either. I outsourced for the first year...
The first thing I did was call MImaki directly (My local tech knew nothing)
They walked me thru it and it turned out to be a corroded cable connector
They advised me to take the cables from the head next to it and swith them, then reboot and see if the * on cable #8 moved. It did. Cable was $7...
Power down the unit for 30 minutes. (This means UNPLUG IT) it will wipe the memory in the motherboard. Then start it back up...if this does not help, call Mimaki in the morning.
Stick with the Factory cleaner
Welcome FLORIDA! Remember the cost of the HEAD...mine start at $800 a piece, then there's the d-o-w-n t-i-m-e. $$$$$$ so, $80 bucks is CHEAP
Be safe and keep the money maker runnin'
New to the forum, not so new to the business. Started with a truck lettering flat in the 80's...1980's that is! Now I rack up the wraps! Love the smell of that ink! To date, I have designed, printed, laminated and installed over 550
wraps...myself. I have had help on the 4-A-Day orders though...
