  5. Graphtec CE5000-60

Everytime I load vinyl into the cutter, lock it in and press enter, the cutter unrolls the vinyl outwards (the whole 10 yrds) then rolls it back in. Problem is it doesnt always roll back properly. It gets out of place and vinyl gets jammed and ripped. I remember watching a video on how to do...
  6. Laserjet on Vinyl.

Okay I didnt mean to cause such mess with this discussion. I was not saying that my laserjet was the only option. I understand what you guys mean now that this could not be done with the equipment I have or should not be tried. I obviously want to do this the right way and from what I gathered...
  7. Laserjet on Vinyl.

Okay so what is my alternative since I do not have $10,000 for a new printer/plotter combo. I am trying to print images/designs (multiple color) onto a vinyl I'm assuming I can only do this with a printer (for now) then run it into my cutter. Thanks guys.
  8. Laserjet on Vinyl.

I did not specify my intentions for this question. I want to print on the vinyl with a laserjet and put it through my cutter to cut.
  9. Laserjet on Vinyl.

I am very new to this. I just recently bought a second hand Graphtec 5000-60. I know that my plotter cannot print and only cut. My question is can my laserjet printer print on a regular white vinyl or is there a specific vinyl for this? Thanks a lot.

  11. PLotter Cutting Over Text On Top Of Each Other.

Okay I'm back. So I'm testing some things out and I tried to do the SD sign with the letters on top of each other (image sample below). Like the title says it is cutting into the other letter so when it is applied it breaks or I just dont want it to look like it is cut. I'm sure this is very...

  13. Printing Small Text

I made major changes to my settings controller and here are the results. These are 1.443 inches wide and .327 inches tall. Very happy with the outcome. Thank you guys for all the help.
  14. Printing Small Text

    Thank you guys.
  15. Printing Small Text

From what I noticed the text moves out of place because the movement of the blade is too fast. Do you guys think if I was to slow it down the text would stay in place?
  16. Printing Small Text

So im guessing I need to buy a different blade than the stock the Graphtec comes with?
  17. Printing Small Text

Thanks for the reply. Ive seen a few with really small prints like the one that we wanted to do. Like this for example. Sorry for sloppy crop.
  18. Printing Small Text

I have a Graphtec 5000-60 and looking to print small text design that can fit the side handles of Ray Ban shades. My problem is the cutter is messing up the text and the vinyl leaves its place. Is there a combination on the plotter control where I can maybe slow down the cutter vs the depth or...
