Graphtec CE5000-60

Everytime I load vinyl into the cutter, lock it in and press enter, the cutter unrolls the vinyl outwards (the whole 10 yrds) then rolls it back in.

Problem is it doesnt always roll back properly. It gets out of place and vinyl gets jammed and ripped.

I remember watching a video on how to do this but I cant seem to find it now.

Can someone help please?

Check your settings, sounds like you have it on Feed rather than Roll 1 or Roll 2.

Jillbeans is right but I think the setting is "Sheet", make sure when you are using a Roll that you select Roll1 or Roll2. When you use Sheet it will try to determine the width AND length. On Roll setting it will only determine the width.

I believe that is the one which pages thru the three different settings.
Just push it until Roll 1 is displayed.

Not trying to be a smart as$ but have you read the manual for the CE5000-60? If not... You really do need to read it. There is lots of useful information.

I bought the plotter used and it does not come with it.

Easy way. Load media, before you press enter, scroll the up and down arrow keys, it will show sheet, roll1, roll2.
