We actually don't have any sheet substrates that require two people to load or unload. The height and use of the carts is all a single person operation. ACM might require 2 people, but we don't run that.
We're traveling to visit a lean sign shop out of state. We'll be discussing traveling for business live today (from the car!). We'd love to have your questions!

Mostly we load and unload them flat, but flip them up vertically to roll them through the shop or store them for cutting at a later time. They take up less room that way. This is our workflow though, there are many options I would imagine.
About 50 sheets of coro or 10-15 sheets of acm is what we'll put on the carts. They don't really tip over if they have full sheets on them, they just get too heavy to handle safely.
petepaz Yeah, the only thing we have found is to use a very sharp blade. We have our sharpening service change our blade out weekly. It also helps if there is any way to cut perpendicular to the flutes.

How do you guys move sheets around your shop? Do you just stack them on pallets? Use a drywall cart?
Here at FireSprint, we use modified rockler carts which you can get on Amazon.

Is this me (Gene)?? That's some honor. I don't think I have ever had my portrait drawn up like that! I might need to get the original (or the high res if it's digital) and frame it! :-D
I know we have a few systems we're considering. Yes, they need a reverse osmosis system ahead of the misters to remove minerals and keep everything functioning nicely. Not sure of the brands we are researching off hand, but we'll definitely do a video when we do nail it down.
Because we quote and print labels at the time of shipping. With our free shipping option, we ship using the lowest cost while honoring the shortest transit days. We use FedEx, UPS, and SpeeDee. This requires accurate package information to choose the best carrier.
Love it! The cool thing about being a trade printer, we win when you win. It's more fun to be on your side.
We have figured a few things out, but we have a lot to learn too. Copy as much as you feel would help you!
Hope you guys find this interesting! Let me know if you want to know more about anything you see! Would love to see any of your shop tour videos or photos as well! Post them below!
