Isn't there a little dial on the right hand side of the take up?
What kind of material / heat settings are you using that they can be stretched by the take up? That seems like another issue to me.
The only issues we had with the take-up on our XR was that it walked like crazy and couldn't be...
You could maybe ask the BC sign association, they might know. Otherwise I'm sure workplace health & safety would be happy to inform you what the consequences are........
Potential (untested) workaround that might be worth testing....
Change Placement strategy to Print jobs individually. In general settings, change print triggering to Automatic (Automatically start printing)
**Make sure to load and set up your repeats settings etc. before you check...
I don't know anything about these machines but keep seeing ads for this ....seems like a good alternative to Roland's mini printer: https://mutoh.com/product/xpertjet-c641sr-pro/
Personally I'd suggest building up the demand while outsourcing the work and see if it builds up, and if it does...
This thread is from 4.5 years ago when we first got the machine. We've been running it with Onyx without issues since then, but haven't played around much with profiles since we're not printing white very often.
Built a few custom profiles, mainly use a 600x600 CMYKLcLm profile for 99% of our...
The only bug/issue I've found so far is that it crashed when loading 27 single-page PDFs at once. File sizes weren't big either, all 150 KB or so.
It crashed & dumped the first 6 files, while another printer was printing a long job.
Miraculously the printer kept going and after re-opening...
Yeah they are great looking signs! Sandblasting seems to have disappeared when it comes to signs, we used to do a lot of them back in the day.
It took me a full week of phonecalls and unanswered emails before I could even find anyone local that would blast a sign for us.
We recently had to re-quote a sandblasted cedar sign we did back in 2017..........previous price was $1785 (which was way too low to begin with) and I re-quoted it at around $4k.
Didn't get the job. Whoever wants to do it cheaper can have it.
Regarding your questions about inflation, I would...
I thought 8508 was always a calendared product??
Anyways, we exclusively use 8418G now for gloss laminate. It's going to cost more than 8508, but less than 8518.
Overkill on some products yes, but only stocking/using one gloss laminate has been working well for us and allows us to streamline...
Vids or it didn't happen! I don't know how they can claim less waste.........we probably use 16"of laminate and 6" of vinyl to web up a fresh roll. And I could probably do it in 2 mins start to finish on our dinosaur GBC lol.
Sorry to hear Scott! Have you found a workaround yet? Haven't run into this yet but will make a note of it, sure it's bound to happen sooner or later.
ONYXtechtips any plans to fix this? I feel like this is a pretty substantial bug that could cost your customers a lot of money, while paying a...
