  1. calculate remainder of roll

It would appear that your method is the safe method. Using my method is OK for small rolls like this but larger rolls, your method would be more accurate and safe than Fire Sprints, and faster than mine. Great investigative work!
  2. US Tariffs, Sigh!

I learned it, some people didn't LOL Trump is good for name calling also, you are correct. I've had a lot of conversations with my best friend who is an old school Bill Clinton Democrat. Her views are 90% the same as mine but she just hates Trump, period. I can tell her all the facts I want...
  3. calculate remainder of roll

I like to live on the wild side. I don't usually print over 4' or 8' at a time so I unroll it on my counter and make sure I have enough. Last week I looked behind me at the printer and saw cardboard! I quick used a razor to cut it off the roll and it worked out perfectly!
  4. ghosting on vehicles

    That girl is certified CRAZY!
  5. ghosting on vehicles

Someone had posted maybe a couple years back about a solution that is supposed to help with ghosting. I never bought it. I just say...too bad, so sad.
  6. Bubbles

Oh! OK, I just added it to my order list for Monday. I remember one of you saying something about it. Time to try it! Now I want to make a sign and wet apply on my laminator! ...wow...I live an exciting life LOL
  7. Your recommendations...

Yes - elementary school projectors, Gino has suggested using them in a few posts. Interesting! I've never done that before but could come in handy...I could have done that this week! Monday I emailed my mom some scrolly scripty wording so she could use carbon paper and transfer to a foam...
  8. Bubbles

As stated above...use an air release vinyl going forward or after this roll is gone IJ40 with matching laminate. Laminate the print then use the laminator to mount on the substrate (depending on your laminator). After that you can use your finger to press any bubbles out vs. popping with a pin...
  9. Your recommendations...

I have zero interest in painting anything but it's an option with some stencils or a projector, if they are simple graphics.
  10. Question Do you hem your banners?

    That's very nice of you!
  11. US Tariffs, Sigh!

That's a great question. I'm going to guess and say no...I certainly hope none of these Elon haters are doing his Tesla decals :roflmao:
  12. Other companies material

Geneva if it makes you feel better, I let a nursing home bring in apparel for their employees. I have enough cat hair for a fur coat and the smell of fabric softener nearly killed me.
  13. Other companies material

I don't either, unless it would be a sign or apparel shop in the area. I have cut Siser for one of the shops for tshirts that they brought in when her cutter was down. If it was customer for some weird thing, I might but probably not a stranger. I get the part..."I should have let him know...
  14. Question Do you hem your banners?

For the record, I prefer the look of a clean, unhemmed banner so I avoid hemming when I can. In the probably 1,000 senior banners I've made with no hems that are on the chain link fence for 1-2 months each, I've only had one grommet tear off so I'm pretty confident with the no hem approach on...
  15. Central Missouri - Retired

    Welcome from Wisconsin!
  16. Polyester Print Media

The only thing I find is the metalized vinyl, or Fellers has polyester backlit film or 1m mounting film? Not sure what that is.
  17. In need of 48" banner rolls

Interesting! I assume the heat from the blade doesn't melt the vinyl or plastic?
  18. Question Do you hem your banners?

I don't hem the senior banners. I hem all the other ones unless they are inside. I just did a 2 sided 18oz and I did not hem it. I never thought of hemming only the top and bottom I might try that!
  19. US Tariffs, Sigh!

Funny how we've become used to being treated sub-human, being called Nazi's, Magats, Motherf*ckers, the list goes on. I was told to go die, my kids should be removed from my home, etc. I was afraid to put up my American Flag outside. I'm afraid to say anything in public. I'm still afraid to post...
  20. seeking tips for selling stickers online

I have to agree with the guys above. Maybe you need to start on Etsy or Ebay. At times random people have found my website and I've shipped cornhole board covers all over the US but it's a pain if you're not set up for it. A few years ago I had an account on Etsy to make those wood signs that...
