All printers break and every brand can take longer than expected to repair. Best option is to have more than one printer or have outsourcing figured out before a breakdown. have to have a backup plan
How cheap per roll are you wanting? You can find sub $150 rolls of 60" x 150" vinyl. I've even seen a few for $100 range delivered. I'll pm you the $100 vinyl
You need to outline the A in illustrator and it will show up the same way as in corel. If it is still a text object in will show black like you're seeing. select the text, right click then "create outlines"
What happens when one of your customers asks another print shop if they can make something similar and shows them a sample? That's it game over for you?
You will need to find a profile for the GF material. Using a "default" profile like you're doing will work for most prints but can result in issues like you are experiencing.
The epson r5070 wastes 3 ft of material between jobs if sent this way. One of the more annoying things about it. Doesn't start the next job until the previous one goes completely through the dryer.
