3M Blue works fine. Setting graphics in place on the new aluminum truck panels and fiberglass box trucks is terrible if you can't use magnets... If they're large, like a box truck or trailer I use 3M "No Residue" duct tape with the purple label. Holds strong and no adhesive left on the vehicle.

Rasterize it and add a bit "noise" in Photoshop to help eliminate banding. Slow down printing and more heat should help too.

VersaWorks is perfect for that printer. I design in Flexi but print from Versaworks. Try making the change.

It’s a baby banner. Go to yours local dollar store and purchase a 4 pack lol for a dollar or two

bungee cords if you have grommets. That banner is small. Keeps it nice and tight. And will flex with the wind…

Roland spot colors don’t work with gradients. My tech / installer made a couple changes in Versaworks when I got my new printer last summer. Great gradients, no green grays to try to overcome. I’ll try to post tomorrow with the settings

No one that I know of. Ran into that same problem like 20 years ago. Some engineer sent me specs for an over a road banner for a Fourth of July party. Wanted reinforced sewn in ropes, grommets every two feet, wind slits that had to be sewn around the perimeters so not to rip. No thanks

Try a new blade, the tip might be broken. Doesn’t matter if it’s a few weeks old. Make sure the blade hold is seated correctly and the screw is tight. It’s an old machine so could be just wear and tear on other parts…

Try a little silicone spray?

That piece looks like 6-8 inches unless your talking about the hood.. Slap it on there and tell them not sure with the texture. I’d Cut them a couple extra little 6 in strips for free and give it to them in case it craps out in a year after they run it through a car wash…

Flexi and Photoshop

Mine did the same sometimes. Just ran a couple inches of a CMYK strip beforehand then it clears up. Didn’t seem worth a service call…
