Wondering if any of anyone have seen this around for more than just craft/hobby vinyl cutters. I'd assume if it's avialable on this someone can/is making it for wide-format machines.
Closest thing I can find is this. https://teckwrapcraft.com/collections/color-changing-vinyl
Have you also considered a value for value model as well along with the subscription? Allowing people to donate what they can to the site for what they get from it.
I find this happens when the QuickSet is set to update media from the printer. If you change that media on the printer it'll reset all the quicksets resolution/pass setting. I've gotten caught by it a couple times and wondered why my 8pass looked like a 6pass.
I knew this was going to be because of the cost of AI. Well if you don't use their AI then it doesn't seem like that big of an issue.
AI is overpriced and wasteful on energy. It has it's place but the novelty is mostly worn away.
Still looking for an easier way to layout lots of stickers for print on UCJV and cut on Graphtec.
I have some scripts I've been using but it's so slow, having to wait 15-20mins for my computer to render the layout in illustrator is not very productive.
I use it for UV printed stickers. Just has a better feel than a 3mil as far as thickness without laminate.
I did manage to find a place Ordway sign that had 2 rolls.
I guess they were hacked and have been trying to get caught up.
No one has 219 and seeing Grimcos Brightline 6mil is out, I'm guessing that it is made for them by GF.
Running some stickers on GF 219 6mil and I've checked 3 places and they are all out of stock with no ETA. One place said they've been waiting on their order since October 2024.
Not sure where GF vinyl is made but the tariffs could also further compound their problems.
I was thinking they wanted some 4 color graphics but they just want cut vinyl. I have Orcal 651, would that be good enough for a trailer or should I look into some 751?
Here's what I'm doing for the back. Size is 35" x 26.5 right now. Thinking it'll be 3 pieces.
Any tricks on getting things...
I think I may do a mix of both really. They want letter but they also want a graphic. I plan on going to see the trailer so I can get better pics and measurements on the trailer.
I've got a soft sided squeegee I can use. I'd like to pre-mask it but I'd have to buy some wide masking tape. Only...
Trying CM4 is next.
I did notice that in CM5 the registration marks the Y offset was at 0.016". Not sure if that is causing this, but I'll have to see if I can test out a print and cut.
I mainly do die cut stickers and labels. Some larger stickers but I've never done anything this large for a trailer before.
It's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'd really like to get experience doing more car graphic work.
What things should I watch out for when doing trailers like this? I...
Yeah it's not the tool position, I did that once and sore to always check my conditions before I send. I never have issues when I cut Onyx barcodes on rolls like this. Although I know it's a different set of marks and has a barcode. I'll have to dig through some settings but I rarely change...
No I had changed the tool before I turned it on.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with choosing sheet vs roll. I can't recall having this problem when it was loaded as a sheet on the Graphtech. These are on a roll though so I can't really choose sheet setting.
