We print on many different guages I'd say most of our blanks are 080 though. As far as jigs what I do if I have a big order of blanks I'll go into illustrator and create a file with as many outlined blanks I can fit on 4x8. Print that directly on the bed. The use that as a template and line up...
Ours runs great. We had an 160 OPOS model at first that was a lemon and never worked. Was a nightmare of a process to get it switched out but decided to go down to a normal s2T and works great.
printheads are good, black is a cmyk value. 100%. No software changes in the past year. Blacks are always fine its just greys. Seems like sometimes there's too much cyan and always have to tone it back a bunch. But yes it is inconsistent, some come out fine, others don't

Been running into an issue recently where some of my greys are coming out blue regardless of CMYK or Pantone. Its gotten to the point where I'm having to make color swatches to color correct with all ICC profiles off. It just puzzles me because some other jobs with grey come out...
We just have a dry erase board with all of our materials listed on it. Just take inventory every couple days. No need to over complicate it in my opinion.
