  4. D120 not finishing cuts

Hi SSPVinyl, I have seen the blade holder cause similar missed cuts in the past, hence my guess that it may be the culprit here. I see that you have called and spoken with our tech support folks and that they recommended switching out the blade holder and cleaning the cutting head, so...
  5. D120 not finishing cuts

HelloSSPvinyl, From the looks of the photos it appears that the culprit is the blade holder. It is likely not seated properly. I would suggest loosening the set screw on the bracket that holds the blade holder in place and make sure the blade holder is seated all the way down in the bracket...

There are two variables to consider when setting up a flex cut on your Summa; the tab width(flex pressure length/pressure) and...

  14. Weeding after laminating issue

Hello Upandup, Read through your issues and have a few pointers. First, you definitely don't want to use a 45 degree and this particular angle is not designed for use with the Summa. There are specific knife offset values assigned to each blade type(36 degree and 60 degree for the Summa) which...

  19. Summa & Cut-server

Hello Airbourneassault, If I remember correctly there should be a box that you can select which says "override device values" that you can either check or uncheck on the last screen before you output your file. I believe the default setting has that box checked and therefore cut-server will use...
  20. another summa issue my maintenance company can't deal with..

Hello Altapac, Sorry to hear about the difficulties with your Summa cutter. As was mentioned previously, these cut inaccuracies can occur for a number of reasons including thickness of material, type of laminate, file corruption, output settings, etc. so it is hard to tell what might be causing...
