If this fixes my problem I am gonna hunt you down and kiss you right on the cheek! Well, probably not actually, I'll be too busy doing the trailer that I can't cut yet!!
I've got an HP cutter (a rebranded Summa). I can cut all day long, let the cutter go through a whole roll of small jobs by itself, but I've had two jobs now that the cutter keeps rebooting during, and the only thing in common is that they are large (10-12 ft) panels. The plotter will reboot...
Thanks, that's good to know! I was worried about sagging over time but sounds like it's not an issue? Also I'm doing the top three windows in the supplied pic. Do you see any issue with the curved tops?
Except for applying perf with lam on top is super easy while the other way is applying a solid clear sheet with the perf on top, I mean if it was frost I'd float it but this sounds like something I wouldn't want to apply wet...
Does anybody do the print, flood white, flood black on clear cast perf? I think that sounds much easier to apply than using double sided laminate, but I haven't used either (just regular perf).

Can anybody please tell me where they source a product like this?
I need 3 pcs 18" x 18"
Yes I asked this last week but I can't believe nobody has anything.
I wish I just needed a damn font ID'ed, that sh*t happens fast around here!!
For our last shop sign which was 45"x16' we used alumalite and folded 1 1/2" returns. We then put our fasteners just through the bottom and top returns (into 2x4s of course!) leaving the sign face unblemished.
I love this one - google "nt cartridge cutter 30 degree"
Ohers have been mentioning the Olfa SAC-1 which is all metal
The yellow one up top is a bit rounder and so a little easier to "roll".
My client is looking for 3 18" x 18" signs like this -
Regarding the print, I don't know if direct print vs clear/white Lam Sandwich is the better way to go...
Johnny thanks so much for taking the time to sketch that out. This is exactly what I need to avoid visible fasteners without having to remove a side. I really appreciate it!
Hey I'm wondering how to install this sign between brick posts. (The picture has stand-in posts - the actual ones aren't gonna be that ugly!)
I'm making the sign with alupanel faces and returns.
