I had a local hotel hire me to install something at their front ( automatic) door.
it was their logo printed and cut out in real big. When I wanted to install the graphics I cleaned the glasses but there were overspray and other stuff that didn't wanted to come off so I took my 4" wide scraper...
Should I overlap or buttjoint the frost vinyl? Maybe butt joint and extra strip on top to seal it???!
Which method would work better if the glass is inside the building and never sees sun vs. a window that gets baked by the sun daily.
Does anyone have any failure with a specific brand when it...
So here is something weird; yesterday was the 2nd time something weird happened to my printer. Even before the first time I never had any issues for almost a year ( printer is 2yrs old) . Not sure what happened. I was never able to diagnose the issue. I showed the prints to the roland tech and...

I have done "normal" size canvas before but I have a few question about this one.
Usually I use 1"x2" lumber for normal size frames but i wonder if i should use 1x3, 2x3 or 2x2 lumber for this size?
i like the rounded edges. I...
I do not leave my printer print by itself but sometimes I gotta print so much I have no other choice.
For this I have a camera set up looking at the printer. I can log in to my computer and see what's going on.

Hi Everyone.
Here is a Do-It-Yourself write up about marrying an laminator with an incompatible rear wind up assembly.
I just bought my new 1401cltw laminator and it didn't come with the rear wind up assembly. Called my supplier and they sent me the RSWU-1400A that was listed on their website...
Hey guys. I am going for the 3m preferred certification in a few days.
I am in the sign business for 10 years. More, or less I know what they will make me do.
But what about the written part? I am trying to read all these pdfs they told me to read but my eyes are falling out from the reading...
Were I used to work at the owner kept all empty cartridges. Does anyone doing the same? I would like to buy them off of you if you have unopened cartridges and the printer tells you its empty ( with the chip)
Hello everyone. I have a Roland VP540 and I have a big problem when I try to cut the material. Material starts sliding to the left (away from the control panel) even If i try to cut a 5' material! I don't have any problem with prints; I can easily print out 30-40' without reloading the material...
Lately I have problem with printing> laminating> then cutting. Whatever I try the rear crop marks are off the plastic line.
Here is how I do it:
When I print I load the material nice and straight then do a sheetcut so its easier to realign the material when I need to cut.
Print as usual...
I wonder what other people used to wrap a vehicle in chrome.
After 3M sent me some chrome sample piece what they are working on I wasn't expecting anything good from other companies. 3M chrome was super thick! Probably twice as thick as the ij40!
Then I decided to get some samples from other...
Anyone with 64" or 74" could chime in pls??
64" would be just enough to print a whole side for a van and have no seams but as I see the widest material we can buy is 60"?
Am I missing something? It would be so awesome to wrap a side of a van 1 piece.
