So I've just bought a Gerber Edge II and envision cutter this weekend. Can't wait to install all this and start playing with it.
I don't get all the possibility yet, so I will have few questions.
I'm looking to buy a used XY cutter like fotoba or any other brand. If someone have one to sell or can point me any reference it would be appreciated. I would prefer located in Canada since our dollar suck, but US is good also.
Thank you.
So I've just got this email from my supplier that the ink price for my L26500 will go up another 2% next month. I currently pay 160$/cnd. I've got a call from a distributor that have 3rd party ink for 112$/cnd. Should I tried them or stick with the OEM and charge more to my customers?
I'm looking for a mentor for electrical sign. I don't plan to make them myself. I have 2 great manufacturers/installer for this, but our planing make difficult to have information and I have to say they suck at training. I would just like to be better at selling them and know the theory of this...
Ok, this is strange. I'm printing a large mural and I check closely my cyan ink because it as only 140ml left. I'm about half way to my print and I check my ink and it says 160ml. WTF!? So I'm gaining ink while printing? It's not a real problem, but am I the only one having this?
I would like to know how much my fellow Canadians pay for their ink for a HP L26500? I was paying 134$cnd/cartridge and now it's 160$cnd/cartridge. I know the Canadian dollar suck and HP rise their prices, but it's a bit steep don't you think?
I've made two signs with bare aluminum with just cut vinyl on it. The idea was to let the aluminum oxidize with time. Since we sub our installation, I left the signs at my installer house and he left them outside. The signs stayed there for about a week. Now I have two oxidation circles on each...
I'm looking for a wholesaler located in Canada for beach flags printing and large format sublimation printing.
I've checked with company like Ultima Display and Jilca, but their pricing is outrageous for this kind of products.
Thanks for your help.

How could I know if I've got the right phototex? I've ordered the opaque version. It's written on the box, but the tape on the roll itself only read ''S'' for solvent. I don't have the regular one in stock to compare.
Thank you.
Ben
We have used Phototex material for several years now. I've got this job that require to use liquid laminate. But I would also learn more about this products. Some of my competitor use liquid laminate for car wrap and 've always been interested in this products. I've found clearshield products...
I've got a customer that want a 65in high X 52in wide double sided aluminum sign. The sign will be hanged from the top and there will only be some cut vinyl on it. My customer want to keep the natural aspect of the aluminium. I normally paint my aluminum, so I do not know how natural aluminum...
Hi, I'm looking for a good wholesaler for sublimation in Canada. If you have a reference in the Montreal area, it would be appreciated. I'm currently using a big company in Montreal, but they take up to 3 days to send me a price quote and they began to contact my customer directly.
Thank you.
