Do you have enough blade extension? What temperature are you cutting at? 300g is low for that kind of thickness, even with heat. We used to put weights on the blade holder to consistently cut thick material on versacamms. In the end we ran special blades and blade holders.

Check your cutter settings in cut server. There is a check box for auto cut new files which will send the cut files to a folder for the barcode server rather than leaving them in cut server.

We run Onyx and it still recognises the Pantone spot colours even if the colours are not displayed correctly in Illustrator. The Pantone Connect interface is clunky as hell. I hope they improve the functionality and sizing, then it will probably be worth paying for.

You could try to draw a box around each word then group the box with the word. Then perform the envelope distort and delete the boxes afterwards. Try to make the box the same size as the word it is grouped with. If that fails, maybe just do a free distort on each word until it looks right.
