I don’t have a flatbed but unlaminated UV inks are generally good for two years. Which is about the absolute longest you should be expecting a correx board to last anyway.
So you want to do more of a specific job (labels) but you have no idea why customers would want them? Or what to use them for?
Sounds like you should probably be trying to push a different product.
We run a lot of vinyl labels/decals. Mostly it’s for quick/easy advertising on places that...
I had a customer email today asking for more signs they got on corrugated plastic, but this time they wanted it to be more rigid, harder wearing and the same price..
I’d also like to trade my car for a better model and pay the same price, how do I do that?
These things can sit a while without printing. I’d probably just up the amount of cleaning cycles to every three hours or so if you’re worried. You’ll use a bit more ink but it’s worth the peace of mind.
Then a a couple cleaning cycles when you’re back and a nozzle wash at best and you’ll be...
Definitely save as jpg if you don’t trust your customers/get a deposit. We send out PDF’s but we also get paid for our work 100% of the time lol
Probably worth using a decent software that has plugins/scripts that you can add dimensions etc on with minimal work.
Our S class has had a whole host of weird and wonderful unresolved issues since February. It works fine for a week or two then will start doing all sorts of funky stuff.
Recently it wouldn’t cut any code out of onyx beginning with a 6, but had no issue with the 9. (The 6 and 9 codes obviously...
The only thing that puts me off getting the F series is there is pretty much only one company in the UK that sells/services these machines and everybody else “selling” them does it via that company.
I could go on all day about how useless said company is with our S class. From the admin not...
I do as many vertical seams as possible so that when the boat launches vertically there’s no drag.
The good news is that the customers never come back to me, they usually just set themselves up as members on sign forums and do a post a day about the same subject until they get the answer they...
Our supplier had a two part magnetic that was essentially the vinyl then the magnetic. The “vinyl” was just like a regular vinyl but essentially turned the surface into a magnetic surface. Then you can use any magnetic to stick to it.
We haven’t tried it but may be worth a look into. As far as...
I was in the “rasterlink is fine” boat until I tried onyx. Fair enough onyx has its quirks but rasterlink feels/works/looks like it was made by an apprentice on their first week.
Up until now I just hadn’t seen anything with decent enough specs that was actually at a reasonable price point. Even the orajet stuff was about 3x the price of comparable media but worse outdoor expectancy etc.
Link won’t open for me for some reason. Are vanguard going to operate separately but under durst or are all their products just coming out branded durst? Assuming it’s a canon/océ scenario where stuff comes out branded as océ (vanguard) still?
That’s the impression I’m getting; not sure if it’s worth being stuck with a roll of banner material/SAV if nobody is going to ever buy it.
There’s a good chance we’ll all eventually be forced down the recyclable route but it’s potentially not worth paying the premium for it just now.
