As others mentioned, you likely accidentally changed the assigned color. If you have not used the design editor panel before this is a good way to visualise each component and its attributes (similar to the layers panel in other software, but functions a bit differently).
A few things for the record, our reseller got me a contact at RS who responded to a voicemail promptly and got my parts on the way ( thanks Carl! ).
If anyone else is curious the RBW-1500 and RBW1500S do in fact use different belts as the S model has 1/8" wider weld. The belts were only like...
We have a RBW-1500 and need some new sealing belts (teflon coated fiberglass). Anybody have a source for them or any vendors that stock parts?
I have called RS several days in a row and left a voicemail and no response, can't say I'm surprised.
I did find a belt matching the dimensions and...
Looks like links arent working so for future reference all manuals available to public are on mutohs website go to the "support" menu dropdown and there is a link called "public ftp"
This is true, just be careful, after a year or two the ink starts to transfer to the glass and is hard to get off.
Just to clarify as well, a static cling doesn't really have adhesive like vinyl does, rather it uses static or surfactants to "cling" to the substrate which is usually glass...
I think that most generally would invite the opportunity to view or engage in a round table discussion. The reality is that there are already dozens of these conversations happening on a regular basis. Almost all of the professional organizations and manufacturers are going crazy with webinars...
Looking to see what others have had success with for painting ACM panels. I have access to most quality paint brands and decent facilities (we don't have a spray booth, but have access to one). Looking for advice on a few facets of this:
1) Substrate (brand, factory coating...)
2) Paints used...
Check out chemetal, I think they are even east coast iirc. They have swatch decks just like wrap films, many many many finishes that can be laminated to a variety of substrates.
Moze what brand augers do you run and where do you get them? Ever have any issues with the chuck end of the bit, it seems like that would be the weak point.
+1 for Fusion360, it is free for personal use and learning and inexpensive if you decide to get a license. I am sure there are other good options as others mentioned. Onshape is another one I have played with a little bit. I have the benefit of previous modeling experience but most of the simple...
I have been intermittently following a direct to vehicle printing technology for several years, but it really hasn't gone anywhere. About 5 years ago an offshore company (cant remember if Japanese or Chinese) brought it over to California and tried to launch but never really got anywhere. At...
On that subject, what software have you tested? I have worked with several over the last few years (not just in the sign industry) and my favorite seems to be Asana. Lately, we have been testing a very simplified shared spreadsheet with status and minimal job info and it has been pretty good. I...
I am no electrician by any stretch but came across the same question a while back. From what I gathered, I think the answer is twofold:
1) I believe the Paige wire is listed in SAM which offers some flexibility to non UL registered shops.
2) IIRC the jacket allows it to pass through walls...
I agree checking if modifications are allowed by osha etc. but here's a thought, what about wrapping them with some bright colors and even throw in some reflective? If not that maybe just put some good quality laminate over the fiberglass. I have never tried that myself, just thinking out loud...
I like the idea of applying black vinyl and sticking to that, I usually just use the clear hi bond tape, usually orafol uhb 3M vhb or similar, it holds well and comes off way better than foam tape.
Often times the best deal for QB is at the bulk stores (sams club, Costco) and the savings will usually be a little more than the cost of membership and there is usually a few options including payroll package. Our cpa shared this little nugget with us a few versions ago.
