This is what I'm doing right now. I was just wondering if there was another solution.
I really like the idea, but I don't have a clear wall area. I don't even have a 10ft long wall without a window.
Thank you for your suggestions. For the accuracy of the cutter, my concern is the material with the liner is only 0.002in. So since it's thinner than regular vinyl, I will have to calibrate the Y feeding and I don't know if it could cut just the material without the liner or if I could use the...
It's a silly question but I would like to have some idea on how you would manage this.
I have a 48in x 96in work table with cutting mat. I have to cut pieces size of 50in X 102in of a 60in window film roll (color tint film). Obviously, my table is too small. I don't have the room to built a...
I just bought a Bosh laser level similar to this and I really like it. There is a clamp that come with it and I use something near or my tool box handle to clamp the laser. Really like it so far. For 84$CND at home depot, it's a must have.
I contacted them few weeks ago and they have a distributor in Canada. http://www.signmakertools.ca/ it's more expensive than order in the US, but you don't have to deal with the border fees.
So I'm looking for a tool box I could carry with me on installation site. Right now, I have the tool bag that come with the power tools, but I have 3 to carry if I want everything.
The one that caught my attention was the stanley 3-in-1 mobile work center I like the idea that it come apart for...
What about imagecast clear?
Here is the description :
Cast 2 mil vinyl film with a clear adhesive system suitable for all types of graphic displays. This material is similar to Clear Enamel Receptive without the enamel receptive coating giving it a better transparency once the adhesive "sets"...
Hi, I know I've already ask this question in the past, but I could not find my post about the subject.
I'm looking for optically clear vinyl that can be use on the Edge printer. I have a repertory to letter and the font that the customer is asking is to thin to make in cut vinyl. So I was...
I don't have a laser yet. And even if I did I wouldn't try and damage the machine. This is why I'm asking to the peoples who have the experience and/or know the answer for sure. If I can't have the answer here I will continue my research and report it here.
Does cutting anything that have PVC like coroplast won't damage the laser? I thought I've read this somewhere. If there is no problem, than problem solved.
I'm looking for a economical material in the coroplast price range, around 4mm thick (1/8in) and could be cut with a co2 laser. It as to be good for outdoor use like coroplast and printable with a UV printer.
Is there any material on the market that would fit this description?
So I've just found the press release of the new canon colorado 1640. They is also some video poping out on the web. I have to say that machine seems amazing.

I've got a supplier Ontario, Canada that stock pre-painted 0.040 aluminum sheet and finishes like bruched, smooth, mirror, etc. Their color is only available in that thickness. They have regular 4x8 sheet, but I can order smaller piece that is cut to my specification. For the price they charge...
