    Check with some other suppliers in your area. 5 ft. is readily available, it comes on a roll to some of the larger suppliers. They sell it by the foot.

    Have you looked into the price difference? Won't be much... The existing one "being cracked up bad" is all the reason to use Polycarbonate.

    Sounds like a bad idea. You better have your *** covered from all angles. Lots to think about, insurance etc. Subleasing is frowned upon in most municipalities and usually not allowed. What if your arrangement falls apart in a few years and he decides to add signage and decals to his business...
