You may not find sign EZ..what you may want to look into is Onyx Gama Print Pro..it's their basic version...or find someone selling an older version of rip software...the HP8000 is old...you can use any version of Onyx 7.0 and up... the rip may end up having more value than the printer..

Just went through this decision myself last week...had a backup drive fail....fortunately it was a backup...went with a 12TB Gtech Studio drive RAID 10...cuts my storage in half but I maintain performance...that was most important to me...I can always add more storage.

Check your heater settings...even on downloaded profiles...temps too hot. Typically around 240 degrees...you are cooking the material you are using. Adhesive vinyl 210-215 degrees...banner 215-220...photo paper 190-195....

In the clean Printhead section, I believe there is a diagnostic plot that can be run that will show you how many NOZZELS are not firing on the heads...
