This is exactly it! I consider the companies I outsource to as "production team" and I have told customers that one facility does certain types of products while our "other production team" is in a different facility and focuses on other products because it is more efficient. I also explain how...
My experience with the HP700W, my first and only printer ever, scarred me. I've settled on outsourcing until i have enough work to justify two printers. I print on both black and white media so it would be nice to have one set up with white and the other with black. If a printer has any downtime...
I'll check around. I cant really say negatives about signs365...with each issue I have they've always remedied it for me. The turnaround is quick on the initial orders and the ones they have had to redo but in an ecommerce world when someone orders something like a hood decal and I have signs365...
From what I have seen Firesprint does not offer wrap vinyl or anything with air egress. Stickers and vinyl by the foot specifically says not for compound curves. Alot of what I sell is wraps for hoods/tailgates so wrap vinyl is a must. I have used firesprint for corrugated signs and pvc signs...
Sorry in advance if this confuses anyone.
I ventured into in-house printing in 2022 and had a roller coaster ride with that latex printer before sending it back just before the warranty expired. Since then I am able to sell almost all the same product by outsourcing. Its been a huge stress...
It’s a two person job. If you have a lamination table that has a moving gantry you just need to laminate the length you can, then have someone move the substrate while someone else moves the gantry…simultaneously and together with enough tension to keep any wrinkles from occurring.

When you export as pdf there is a box that you need to uncheck. I think it says “suppress options”. When you uncheck it and save it brings up another dialogue box that has the option to include cut lines in the export.
Print side out. We use 4” tubes or larger and have moved toward clear app tape rather than paper. Comes out of the tube in pristine condition for the end user.
friedstickers. If you are selling online I wouldnt do either. I personally want a .com name if possible and neither of those are available...unless you are the one who already owns them.
We laminate everything regardless and I agree from an experienced installer's point of view that the thickness is enough when laminated. I wouldnt waste the money on material if I could install them myself but these are all shipped out so its really a completely different business than those who...
I never had problems with matte finishes but for glossy material it did just as you described. I just got used to utilizing the take up reel so there was constant tension. Never had any issues with it once that became routine.
Yes and no. I see what you are saying and agree for most signage or standard “decals” that’s the way to go. Do a YouTube search for “jeep hood decal” and let me know the ratio of installation videos you see that do it your way vs the way I’ve described needing it done.
I exclusively do vehicle...
I completely agree. And I've been contently doing it the standard way for years. I have guy interested in buying/dropshipping my products that he'd be reselling on his website. He sells vehicle accessories and is getting into the graphics side of things now. I've seen his numbers and he...
Thats definitely something I could do and have though of.
There's a couple considerations that are involved which is why I had wanted to do it this way. Maybe someone could change my mind with a better idea..
1. I would be doing this for both printed and unprinted vinyl. I actually outsource...
